Noah has his first big cold which he caught at daycare from one of his little friends and he promptly gave to his mother. We both came down with our cold last week and it progressively worsened over the weekend. Now it seems that we are beginning to recover. Mom's recovering a little faster than Noah. But we're hoping we're both feeling better by Sunday when we have Noah's baptism. Noah's still coughing and sneezing quite a bit, but he's still just as happy as ever.
We've discovered Little Noses a saline solution that helps Noah sneeze out the junk so that he can breath better. We're also running a humidifier non-stop overnight in his room. We're finding that the teachers at Noah's daycare have all kinds of helpful tips and tricks for helping Noah overcome this illness. They also provided helpful advice on how to get Noah to take his Zantac more easily. One of his teachers mentioned to me that I should blow in his face after we give him the medicine which causes Noah to have the reflex to swallow. Who knew? But it works.
Fortunately, Eric has avoided contracting this bug. But his sleep has definitely been disrupted by my coughing. We're all looking forward to a healthy household again soon.
