Peek a Boo

Despite being sick with an ear infection, Piper is still finding ways to enjoy life. Piper has learned how to play peek a boo. I was standing in the bathroom this afternoon and Piper was just outside the door. All of a sudden she poked her head in and cackled. When I turned around and smiled she ducked back out. I thought it was a fluke until she did it again, and again, and again. She's really developing a sense of humor. So fun to watch!

Another Ear Infection

At least this time two parents are in town. Eric, Piper and I visited the ER at Children's Hospital today because Piper had a fever of 105.5 degrees. Fortunately Tylenol and a cool bath have helped bring the fever down and now we have started an antibiotic. Poor baby. She's a trooper. Even though she wasn't feeling great she was still smiled and laughs.
