A visit from the fairy godparents

My godmother Ann came with her husband Paul for a visit on my last week of maternity leave. When we had Noah we decided that great godmother didn't sound quite right, so Ann and Paul became the fairy godparents. We had a very nice visit, aside from the one day quarantine we had when Noah got the 24-hour stomach flu. We don't get to see enough of those two great people so it was great to have them here in the cities for almost a week. Here are a couple photos from last week.

24-hour Tummy Sick Bug

Noah survived his 24-hour stomach virus. He initiated our new addition with a big cough, but it's all cleaned and sanitized now so it's like new again.

Poor guy had a rough day yesterday, but woke up this morning as if he had never been sick. Fingers crossed that we kept Noah and Piper separated well enough that she didn't catch it.

Swimming Lessons

Noah had his first swimming lesson today with Cousin Marissa (swimming extraordinaire). He learned all kinds of things like: how to wear goggles, blowing bubbles, front float, back float, turtle float, and bobs.



Noah had a lot of fun, but got a little cold. Check out his blue lips.




Cousin Jaci, Piper and I all hung out on a blanket under the shade of a tree. What a beautiful day!

Memorial Day at the Zoo

We fed the goats. We saw the baby pigs at the farm. We played at the playground. We had a short picnic. And we saw the dinosaurs! The T Rex was Noah's favorite.
