Taking after Mommy

Apparently Piper inherited a taste for playground sand from her Mommy. We went to the Minnesota Zoo this past weekend for Beach Party day. I sat her in the sand next to her brother and she immediately started to eat it. Yuck! At least that's what I thought last weekend. But when I was 9 or 10 months old, I guess I thought "YUM" just like Piper. My mom likes to remind me that I did the same thing.

Peek a Boo

Despite being sick with an ear infection, Piper is still finding ways to enjoy life. Piper has learned how to play peek a boo. I was standing in the bathroom this afternoon and Piper was just outside the door. All of a sudden she poked her head in and cackled. When I turned around and smiled she ducked back out. I thought it was a fluke until she did it again, and again, and again. She's really developing a sense of humor. So fun to watch!

Another Ear Infection

At least this time two parents are in town. Eric, Piper and I visited the ER at Children's Hospital today because Piper had a fever of 105.5 degrees. Fortunately Tylenol and a cool bath have helped bring the fever down and now we have started an antibiotic. Poor baby. She's a trooper. Even though she wasn't feeling great she was still smiled and laughs.

Workin' Man

Noah is a working man. Each night on the way home this week he proclaimed that he was just going to go down to the basement and work when we got home. True to his word, when we got home he marched downstairs and our contractor put him to work. Here are a few pics.

Playing Together

Noah and Piper had fun playing Legos this morning. This is the first time I've seen them really interact while playing together, usually it's just playing side by side. Noah is such a good brother! I am proud of both of them.
