We're thinking of taking Noah camping this summer. Eric and I really want/need a vacation (and not just a stay-cation), but we don't want to do anything too extravagant because we're still saving for our next house. So we've been kicking around going camping. What do you think? Are we insane to contemplate camping with a toddler? Would he, could he sleep in a sleeping bag? Would he scream all night long and wake all the neighboring campers? (The walls of a tent are not very thick.) Or would he do great?
I think we'll never know unless we try. But what do you think?
I'm looking forward to your comments!!!

You could try one or two nights first to see how it goes!
We are planning on going in about two weeks. Someplace close.... You are welcome to join us!
I would give it a try.
I would say never in a million years, but that's got nothing to do with Noah and everything to do with my aversion to the outdoors ;)
This is Dan

What's the worst that could happen: Noah screams all night, you keep the neighbors up, the three of you don't get any sleep, it rains, it's cold, a bear eats your food and your tent breaks... why wouldn't you try it.
You should come with us, it will be fun!
Not a wimp. You people are the crazy ones.
Definitely a wimp....
